A no fuss perennial, hardy and works in sun or shade. Cutting back the flower spikes at the end of the year leaves an evergreen foliage of reddy green through out the winter. With flowers at 60cm ish all summer it's a must for the bees. I have found the rabbits and slugs don't go for them too much. Cut out the old growth in spring as new sprouts up.
